DURATION
The Certification is a two day program with 12 hours of education for all motivational events and incentive travel industry professionals, including students and academic faculty.
EXAM
The certification process includes a required exam which must be taken and passed by every individual.

DELIVERY GOALS
The program is designed for groups of 20 participants or more.
CIS OWNERSHIP & CONTENT RIGHTS
Site is the official owner of the Certified Incentive Specialist brand name and the CIS program making the CIS certification one that is officially granted by Site.
"CIS Re-Certification guidelines"
CIS professionals need to re-certify with Site Global every 3 years (25.00 USD) with any one of the following elective procedures.
a. Proof of 4 educational sessions on meetings and events per year which may be in Site´s International Conference
b. Write 3 articles on incentives or related topics per year
c. Proof of participation in at least one trade show or trade congress per year
d. Proof that you have given a lecture or presentation on Motivational experiences or motivational travel every year of a 30 minute length minimum.
e. Proof that you have participated in at least two webinars on Motivational experiences or Motivational/incentive travel per year.
f. Achievieng another certification of the meetings and events industry within the three year period: CITE, CMM, CMP, CASE, CEM, etc.
CLOCK HOURS
In addition to the CIS designation, the CIS program is approved for 6 hours of continuing education clock hours that may be applied on the CMP application and Recertification application.
